This platform is the intersection of sport and purpose—a place where my journey as a competitive alpine skier becomes a vehicle for climate advocacy. What started on the slopes has evolved into a project that uses research, media, and storytelling to examine how climate change is threatening the future of skiing.
Through a series of in-depth interviews with athletes, resort officials, equipment manufacturers, and community members—from Austria to China to Bosnia—I capture real voices and experiences from the front lines of this crisis. These conversations, paired with photo essays, site visits, and sustainability research, aim to raise awareness and inspire solutions.
Hear from stories and insights from industry experts

Lindsey Vonn
Olympic Gold Medalist & World Champion Skier
“It’s not an easy sport all the way around. It’s quite a challenging sport from all perspectives. It’s definitely a lot different than what people imagine it to be.”
Melanie Kwok
Head of Sustainability, Sino Group
"A successful sustainability project and program is the one that not only could be able to scale up, but also able for other areas, other cities to learn from one another."

Dan Curtiz
Coach, Dynamic Snowsports
"Eco-friendly materials being used in equipment—whether that's recycled materials or things that biodegrade better. But also when it comes to waxes, waxes that are environmentally friendly on the snow so it doesn't damage the snow or leave a lasting impact on the environment around us."
Captain Robson
Head of Skiing, Harrow School
"Dry slopes do play a massive thing, certainly in places like UK where we haven't got easy access to mountains and snow in the mountains—and who knows what the future is going to bring, whether other countries get the same."

Helmut Holzer
Director of Anticipation & Advanced Research, Atomic Austria
"“Even we are, say, Atomic is the biggest in the industry, but compared to other industries, we are small. So, we have to collaborate, especially on sustainability. And that's why we have this third pillar, this collaborating with others.”
Marko Rudic
Head Coach of Hong Kong Ski Team
"The good habit becomes a passion, and then the passion is something you truly love. You identify yourself with certain things, which for me was alpine skiing — it just became part of me."

Adrian Yung
Hong Kong Ski Team Member
"The only thing that these athletes can really do is just draw attention to the issue. We're not really able to make any sort of important changes, any drastic changes ourselves, because of course these decisions lie with the international federations and governments and associations—all these bigwigs that sit at the big boy decisions."
